If you are looking for free Christian books, Amazon has several free Christian ebooks to download for the Amazon Kindle. There is an English Standard Version Bible formatted for the Kindle from Crossway Bibles, and a collection of Christian books from Tyndale House. Both Crossway Bibles and Tyndale House are established, respected Christian publishers, and it is always nice to get a free book that is worth paying money to have.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version from Crossway Bibles
It is hard to read a reference book on an ebook reader because flipping back and forth is tricky, so prefer the Youversion mobile Bible app for iPad when I am looking for specific verses. Ebook readers are excellent for reading books of the Bible as part of an in-depth study. I first downloaded the Crossway Bibles version of The Holy Bible: English Standard Version in 2009, and my notes and highlights have stayed with my Kindle account even as my Kindle has been replaced.
Crossway is a non-profit Christian book publisher, and according to their Crossway Ministry information page, "any surpluses which may arise are used solely to further the Crossway ministry worldwide." The Holy Bible: English Standard Version was originally published by Crossway Bibles in 2007, and it is distributed by Amazon Digital Services. The ASIN is B001EOCFU4.

Free is a good price, and having a Bible ebook with navigation chapters is helpful during Bible study. Free book offers do not last indefinitely at the Kindle ebook store, so download the books while you can. If you do not want to use the space on your Kindle, you can send them to your digital Kindle library on Amazon and download them to your Kindle when you are ready to start reading.
